Banff, Alberta

Banff National Park

In the heart of Banff National Park, less then 90 minutes from our home, experience the wonder of Banff with a myriad of activities, from hiking, gondola rides, shopping.  Explore the breathtaking landscapes.  and finish off the day with a relaxing soak in the picturesque hot springs.

Lake Lousie

A Glacial Lake

Nestled in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, Lake Louise is a shimmering gem waiting to be explored. The crystal-clear waters, towering peaks, and breathtaking vistas, are a feast for the eyes and soul.  Be sure to check out the world famous Fairmont Chateau.

Frank Slide

Open 10AM  - 5PM

Visit the site of the deadliest landslide in Canadian history.  Just after 4 a.m on April 29, 1903, 90 million tons of limestone rock suddenly tumbled down the side of Turtle Mountain, obliterating the eastern edge of the mining town of Frank.  Historic mining tours are available in the area.

Red Rock Canyon

Waterton National Park

This Canyon, found in Waterton National Park, has striking colors of the bedrock layers. The layers of red and green colored minerals offering a brilliant contrast to each other. Hiking up to the falls through the lush surroundings is well worth it. Short self-guided hikes explain some of the unique formation of Red Rock Canyon.

Heritage Park

Open 10AM - 5PM

Heritage Park grew out of the connection Calgarians have to the preservation of our shared history. The Park tells the diverse stories of those who came before us. Located in the heart of southwest Calgary, Heritage Park is situated on a 127-acre peninsula of surrounded on three sides by the Glenmore Reservoir. The Park has over 180 exhibits and service structures; relocated restored originals and replicas.

Calgary Stampeders - CFL

The Canadian Football League is a professional football sports league in Canada. The CFL is the highest level of competition in Canadian football. The league consists of nine teams, each located in a different city in Canada. They are divided into two divisions: four teams in the East Division and five teams in the West Division.  There are some different rules from the NFL; like 3 downs instead of 4, longer field, larger ball, and a few more.
